Question 1

Isn't this just SEO?

Accepted Answer

Mostly, yes, and that's good news. Google says optimizing for its AI answers is still SEO, and Bing says Copilot finds and indexes pages the same way its search does. So Mariy checks those shared basics on your home page, plus the few things AI assistants add, such as whether your site lets in the search bots of ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity. It doesn't check your rankings or the links to your site, and no tool can promise that AI will mention you.

Question 2

Which AI tools does Mariy cover?

Accepted Answer

The scan checks what AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Microsoft Copilot need in order to find, read and quote your site. It reads your site directly and does not ask the assistants about you.

Question 3

What do I get without signing up?

Accepted Answer

A free scan of your site's home page, with your score out of 100 and a summary of where you stand. Free scans are limited to five an hour. Sign in and verify that you own the site to see every issue in detail and get suggested fixes, still free.

Question 4

What's the difference between Free and Pro?

Accepted Answer

Free, once you verify your site, gives you the full report and a few rounds of suggested fixes written for your site. Pro is a one-time $10 per site with more reports and fix rounds, plus audits that cover several pages at once. There is no subscription.

Question 5

How accurate is the score?

Accepted Answer

The score comes from fixed rules and fixed weights, and no AI judges your site. We test the checks against a fixed set of real sites and publish the method and a summary of the results on the methodology page.

Question 6

Will this slow my site down?

Accepted Answer

No. We only read your public pages, the same way a visitor would. Nothing is installed and nothing on your site changes.

Question 7

My site blocks bots. Does that affect my score?

Accepted Answer

It can. If your firewall or bot protection turns away unfamiliar visitors, AI assistants may hit the same wall. Your report shows what we could and couldn't read. Ask whoever runs your hosting to let AI crawlers through, then scan again after 24 hours.

Writing that makes AI read you better.
